This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request deletion of personal data stored by Imagetly when using our Service. We are committed to respecting your rights and privacy under all applicable laws, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Platform Requirements.

2. Data We Store

We store the following personal data for each user:

  • Account Credentials: Email address, encrypted password.
  • Instagram Integration: Access tokens, basic profile info, and media you choose to upload via our platform.
  • Usage Data: Logs and analytics for troubleshooting and improving the Service.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

Manual Request:

  • Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
  • Include your account email address and a brief description of the request (e.g., "Delete all my data from your Service").
  • We will verify your identity to ensure we're deleting data for the correct account.

In-App Deletion:

Visit your Profile Settings page and click the "Delete Account" button to automatically trigger removal of your stored data. We will confirm via email once your data is removed.

4. Processing Time

Upon receiving a verified request, we typically respond or take action within 7 business days. Some data may persist in temporary backups or logs for up to 30 days but will be removed as those backups are cycled out.

5. Post-Deletion Access

Once your data is deleted:

  • You will no longer be able to log into the Service with your old credentials.
  • Any linked Instagram scheduling or publishing will cease to function.
  • Previously published Instagram content will remain on Instagram, as it is posted under your account. However, we will not have any remaining tokens to manage or delete that content.
